During our Mindful Photography Workshop yesterday, we experienced all kinds of weather—from rain and strong winds to bursts of sunshine. A small group of participants braved the elements and joined the photo walk. Funnily enough, once we were in the woods, the stormy sky gave way to sunshine, teasing and surprising us.
The hawthorn blossoms stole the show for me. As the wind shook the branches, some of the flowers appeared almost like cotton buds in my images.
A reminder that all weather can offer something for mindful photography—when we embrace what is, it often brings pleasant surprises.
